I just bought the maybelline shiny-licious in coconut cream and while I LOVE the color, it's too glossy so I just dab at it with my fingers to take some of the gloss off... plus the color doesn't stay on long. I tried alittle from my roommate and i really really liked the subtle colors. The angel pink is more natural than the berry flirt one, but if you put alittle berry flirt on with some clear gloss it'll look nice and subtle. I really hope they are still selling those still.
i would prolly go with the maybelline, because i did try the shinylicious in sun splash and berry clear and they both smell so good, and they feel great. if you want it natural make sure the gloss doesn't have sparkles. : )

it works okay, i wouldnt say its the best on the market.
it works better for people that have thinner eyelashes, rather than people that have thicker, fuller lashes. but hey, who i am to tell you. just try it anyways, make up works different for other people!! its only like $6 so if it ends up not working for you, ohh well, its not that expensive!!

Plus, my acne has cleared up and my skin is so soft!

It is the best mascara I have ever tried, andd now, I won't use anything else!
Pros:It doesn't leave you with raccoon eyes when you go to take it off. It doesn't clump. It really does give your lashes at least 9 times the volume. The packaging is amazing! It dries really fast.
Cons: There are no cons! It's the best!

yeah ive used it. honestly i didnt like it, i didnt like the coverage it gave, it was minum coverage.
and i also noticed that if i applied it more than twice in one day, like reapply it, cause i have oily skin, it got really cakey and didnt look good. also i noticed that alot of the product was wasted cause it would fall off the brush or out of the pot.
one thing i liked about it was my face felt really soft.

And they must sell these sorts of quantity anyway as I buy many of my Maybelline products here in the UK on a local market stall and Bett is certainly not 'national'!

They stink. They are hard to apply and leave inconsistent patches of color. I would skip blush completely. If you do need some color in your cheeks I would go with an extremely subtle bronzer or powder blush. Otherwise...blush really is '80's.

foundation- bare escentuals
shadow- lancome, but i like other shadows too

Since you're strawberry blonde, stay away from blue eye shadows. Avoid pinkish tone foundations, they'll make you look too rosey. For blush, a light natural pink with warm tones is best since you're fair (I'm really fair too and light pink works the best). For eyeshadow, natural colors like champagne are great (I like the shimmery ones).

NOT Maybelline! Excuse my language, but that makeup is literally crap! It just falls all over the place and smudges and clumps. Is it okay if i mix them up? Covergirl is great, Neutrogena works rlly well, and revlon is bomb! Hope it helped!

I really really like this mascara. It's the only one from Maybelline that I use..the others are crap.
This mascara is good if you want to achieve, dark, dramatic, feathery almost fake looking lashes. The only con is that it does tend to flake a little bit later in the day, but it doesn't run under the eye.

I finished it today. It works well. I liked it for the price.. plus when I bought it it was buy one get one free. But I don't like the colossal or the lash blast because the wand is way to big to me. not the brush but the stick part. I used to get it on the bridge of my nose everyday. But they both do a great job it just depends on the wand size you like. Make sure you get waterproof in which ever one you decide on.

yes, your lashes will stick together, but i've had that happen with most mascaras.
and yes, it lengthens, a little. nothing drastic.
I used the Define a lash volume (in the pink tube).
I finished it today. It works well. I liked it for the price.. plus when I bought it it was buy one get one free. But I don't like the colossal or the lash blast because the wand is way to big to me. not the brush but the stick part. I used to get it on the bridge of my nose everyday. But they both do a great job it just depends on the wand size you like. Make sure you get waterproof in which ever one you decide on.

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara?

I like this one and I like the lashblast, however my current fave is the lumene nourishing mascara. Its a little pricey however it works wonders!! Heres a pic of it on my short asian lashes, no primer just curled with a coat of this on top! Im in love!!

okay so i have the same problem
and i tried maybellines define a lash volume waterproof
and hated it at first actually
but about 2 weeks ago i figured out how to make it work NICE
put it in between the palm of your hands and rub together until your hands get warm
then using a mascara spoolie go over your lashes
taking a paper towel wipe off excess mascara on the brush
then apply mascara
then use the spoolie again
WORKS AMAZINGLY!
Lash Blast gives the look of beautiful , natural thick lashes. Colossal gives the look of ';wow'; lashes. I've tried them both and they're equally nice, the only con is that the colossal tends to clump after about 2 coats, and sometimes the lash blast isn't dark enough for the look I want.
i'd say both... i have them both n love them both... colossal's a lil cheaper and it makes your lashes longer but seperated.. lash blast makes them longer %26amp; fuller.. both work differently, but great. %26amp; from personal experience i know lashblast works well in waterproof.

I looked for this mascara forever and finally got it because i thought it would be awesome cause I love the original volum' express but when i finally got it, it didn't make my lashes any better than the regular volum' express or covergirl lashblast. I thought it made my lashes really hard to and brittle. It was okay overall but I like the original one better. If you really want a good mascara though i would get covergirl super thick lash it's in a red tube and only costs $5 or Avon's Daring Definition Mascara. if you could go a little more expensive i would go with dior show it's amazing! It costs $23 but it usually comes with freebies it you go to the dior counter in the mall and its totally worth it. i have it my lashes look frikin long, but its a litttle culmpy soo when i put it on i go over it with a dry mascara brush to get ride of the clups
o and it gets all over my eyelid
but it does make ur lashes look long

I am a mascara junkie. I actually collect them. Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express is actually my least favorite...besides Maybelline Great Lash. It doesn't define well enough for me and tends to clump. It does have an odor but thats just my opinion. If you want to see what it looks like in action I suggest looking at either Youtube for video reviews, in which you can find comparisons to similar mascaras and actually see how the mascara works and what other users think about it. Remember, not everyone's lashes are the same so what they think may not apply to you. Also, another great website is MakeupAlley.com. It has thousands of reviews for almost every makeup product you can think of. You can read the reviews of many other customers just like you.
Personally I would recommend either LashBlast (Covergirl) or Rimmel's Sexy Curves. Lash Maxxx (Rimmel) is okay too but it uses a comb instead of the usual wand which some people find hard to use. Personally, I think it works great.

It is a very good mascara. It is also not very expensive, either. It darkens lashes, lengthens lashes, volumizes lashes, and gives them a look that makes it seem like you went through your lashes with a comb. I would compare it to Lashblast by Covergirl, which is a good thing because like I think it was 600 million women tried Lashblast and loved it, so your on the right track. That is another mascara to consider buying. Once again, Lashblast is not expensive either.
I tried that one. It was...okay. It works almost as well as CG Lashblast does on my lashes (which are short and pitiful without mascara).
I do like the big brush, but I noticed it (and other maybeline mascaras) have a strange odor that I can't stand. I could literally smell the mascara on my eyelashes hours after I applied it. Blech. Of course, I do have a sensitive nose, so maybe it's just me.
But anyway, to answer your question, it's not a bad mascara, but it is not by any means my favorite. CG Lashblast gives about the same results and about the same size applicator, but Colossal Volum has a traditional applicator (the pipe cleaner looking ones, I can't remember what they're really called lol), where Lashblast has the new plastic bristled applicator.
My eyelashes would go straight down after i applied ANY mascara no matter what i did. But then i found this mascara called the Colossal Volum' Express Mascara in waterproof. I love it! It keeps the curl on my lashes %26amp; really does add volume. I also have thin hair therefore, thin lashes. This is the best mascara i have tried.
from Maybelline, I only like their Stiletto - it makes eyelashes look elegantly longer, without ugly gobs other mascara leaves.

its fine. but if you want pile on mascara with bigger and badder volume try lashblast by covergirl or jordana. jordana is very pilable and never flakes. plus its like 1 dollor compared to collosal which is almost 9 dollars!

Lash blast's pros: Really separates your lashes, doesn't clump
Lash blast's cons: The brush ALWAYS pokes me in the eye, it really hurts too, I don't like how many coats I have to put on to make my lashs look thicker.
Colossal's pros: REALLY makes your lashes look colossal!
Colossal's cons: Tends to clump up on your lashes, and I don't like that there is so much that comes out on the brush, it kinda smells funny too/

Never tried Colossal because I've heard bad reviews that it clumps and so on.
Lashblast is overall a great mascara: makes your lashes long, full and really nice looking. They also look like falsies too! The only bad things are is it's hard to do the bottom lashes and they test on animals :(

The disadvantage is that if you put it on wrong, you'll wind up looking trampy. I could ramble on forever but, you see, I've only got so much time. I have used both brands and I love them! Lash Blast really makes your lashes look huge. I was looking at some pics I took last weekend and it looks almost as if I'm wearing false eyelashes. It also washes off really easily, unlike a lot of mascara, which gives you raccoon eyes when you try to remove it. The only disadvantage to it is that it tends to get clumpy if you apply more than two or three coats.
Colossal Volum' is also great. It gives a ton of volume, but not quite as much as Lash Blast. It's more of a defined look. Good for daytime.
If I had to choose, I'd probably pick Lash Blast.

Lash blast's cons: The brush ALWAYS pokes me in the eye, it really hurts too, I don't like how many coats I have to put on to make my lashs look thicker.

Colossal's cons: Tends to clump up on your lashes, and I don't like that there is so much that comes out on the brush, it kinda smells funny too/

Never tried Colossal because I've heard bad reviews that it clumps and so on.
Lashblast is overall a great mascara: makes your lashes long, full and really nice looking. They also look like falsies too! The only bad things are is it's hard to do the bottom lashes and they test on animals :(

im on a hunt for a good mascara....i was wondering what you think about big fatty mascara by urban decay, maybelline volum' express, or almay mascaras. im looking for something that will give my crappy lashes volume and something that isn't flaky since i wear contacts and that irritates my eyes if it flakes. also something that doesn't clump or smudge or wear off and below $20.

I agree about Benefits Bad Gal Lash I am in Love with it! It gives you the boldest lash result way better the DiorShow. the biggest thing I want from the mascara that I choose is WATERPROOF ABILITY! i have colossal from maybelline and I personally HATE IT! it's not the formula it's that when I go to the pool with my friends or go to the beach or something it runs down my face. I look scary and my boyfriend thinks I look like a hooker. so i still want volume and/or length and thickness. I want it known i'm wearing it without all the clumping. idk what to do? but i have to decide since i'm goinig to go buy it tomorrow.

If you're only 16 I probably wont recommend false lashes (as that's what could really boOST up your lashes when u need to) but as for those two - curved brush and straight brush, boost or not - its a marketing thing (them trying to sell that) its not going to make a bit of difference which one. Worry about waterproof or not. That will make a difference. : )

maybelline is the way to go with mascras i have every one of their mascaras. cover girl lash blast mascaraw with clump with not legethen wont do carp. i bought some the other week and spent 7.00 dollars on that piece of crap. i made my eyelashes shorter and it is hard to get off even if you dont buy the water proof. i think that it just has a big brush and big tube to get your attention it doesnt do crap. i tried the colossal mascra that crap is like magic. i but it on my lashes and not only did it lengthen and volumized but also made my eyes stand out and brung out the color of them also was very easy to take off. :D

Sometimes you can find discontinued products at Beals outlet...Big Lots and even the one dollar stores....one suggestion...when you find it...STOCK UP....Maybelline discontinued a product I loved and I found some at those stores..but now I can't even find it there.....hope this helps..

Since you have olive color skin, I suggest using earth tones. Such as golden hues - similar to the Grand Canyon - with mixtures of green in it as well.

But anyways, yeah I think a smokey eye will look good on you! What I do is use some liquid black eyeliner and black eyshadow and smudge it, especially on the outer corners of my eyes to give them a seier look.

I fell in love with this eyeshadow shade when it came out last summer, but it was only out for the summer so they no longer sell it. The Mac Hello Kitty pallette in Lucky Tom has the gold and pink/coral colors you're talking about. As for the orange, Rule by Mac is a nice shade of Orange.

I bought a maybelline expertwear eyeshadow quad in purpley shades. Each color was labelled for the lid, the crease, brow bone, and outer corner. I applied each color on my eyelid and then when I was done, it all looked WHITE! plain white! like i had just spread on tons of powdery white eyeshadow. whats up with that?Maybelline eyeshadow??? wth?
I can't say I've had colored eyeshadow turn white; however, I have discovered that most drugstore brand eyeshadows are a very poor quality. I have super-pale skin, but most cheap eyeshadows I tried still didn't have enough pigmentation to show up on my skin, even when I used an eyeshadow primer! And you'd think anything would show up on me since my skin is practically white ;) But I have tried Maybelline, CoverGirl, L'Oreal, etc. .... a few shadows were a decent quality, but most were definitely not! (For some reason all the best shadows were browns; I never found a good purple in those brands!)
I'm not quite sure how to deal with the Maybelline eyeshadow. If you're really upset, see if you can return it to the store or contact Maybelline for a refund.
Otherwise, I would suggest trying to find some better brands .... the only two inexpensive brands I found where most of the eyeshadows were actually a comparable quality to more expensive brands are Milani (found at some Walgreens, CVS, and www.walgreens.com) and Prestige (which so far I've only seen at some Walgreens). Or if you can afford it, try some department store brands. Finally, for a mid-range price, you can also try my current favorite brand: Aromaleigh (www.aromaleigh.com) -- HUGE color selection, excellent quality, decent price (especially if you wait for the sales), plus it's mineral makeup so it's healthier for your skin! Just make sure you always order samples first because Aromaleigh doesn't accept returns!

Don't buy cheap eyeshadow. Invest in some nice clinique or estee lauder - it may be more expensive, but a good palette will have good coverage and you can really tell the difference.

Loreal eyeshadows are great, try to never ever ever get Maybelline it is the cheapest makeup you can get at the drugstore. Loreal is higher quality. But I've also noticed that the drugstore makeup is almost the same price as Department store makeup! I went to get Loreal mascara (awesome!) and it was like 10 bucks. At MAC they have mascara for 12. It is just slightly more money but higher quality!
Maybelline shadows have the best colors. The thing I gatew most about them is that these specs of eyeshadow starts to fall down your cheeks, you can just wipe it off though. They don't fade, but tend to crease.
I personally don't like Loreal Infinite Wear eyeshadow. The colors go on very light %26amp; fades too quickly.
Try Rimmel. It's my favorite. My skin is really oily %26amp; it lasts pretty long. It doesn't fade either. The only bad this is that they don't have as many color choices as other brand.
okay eyeshadows are a big problem for me too since u have to find the perfect shade but then they always have to be very pigmented and stay long enough okay i like the maybelline line but however i would not recommend it for eyeshadows i have tried a couple of thier eyeshadows and ther not that great at i had to put a lot on to get the exact color or make it bright i had to do like three to four layers before i could even see the actual color whihc was not good then the eyeshadow are very dry and when u put them on ur eyes they ook dry and not smooth or matt and feel flakey so hoenstly i like maybelline but dont recommend buying thier eyeshdows they dont have the best eyeshadows but however i have used l'oreal's it's the best eyeshdow i have used from drug store brand first of all u can buy a tons of colors which all look great but then the powder is very soft and matt on ur skin i onlu need to apply 1 coat to get the color and it has amazing pigments which make the color look great and honestly i only need to appply 1 or layer of the eyeshadow and i get the color and it feels smooth on ur eyelids and doesnt irrate ur eye (the maybelline yeshadows made my eylids feel wierd and dry) this dint i love thier eyshadows they have the best eyeshadows i have even tried the covergirl eyshadows and there not that good l'oreal is the best i used the wear infinite eye shadow quads the one which are like 4 eyeshdows in 1 and also the duos there good to best honestly they are the best , u can also try from the 'oreal line the hip eyshdows that come in duo the hip products are from l'oreal as well but they are just little more pricy but they are amazing two since the hip products are extremly pigmented so try the hip duo eyshdow and u will luv them they are worth the price but nayway any l'oreal eyshadow wheter it's infinte wear or hip eyshadows loreal has the best eyshadows hands down but honestly dont waste ur money on maybelline they are nott good try the hip eyshdow and u will like that( it's just the hip rpoducts have a great variet of bright colors while infite wear is more casual and toned down so choose which ur prefer bright colors or neutral and then go from thier hope ihelped)
l'oreal hip shadows, or the infinite ones,. i heard of NYXcosmetics.com and if you want some expensive ones MACIs Maybelline Expert Wear eyeshadow or Loreal Infinite Wear eyeshadow any good? Also, what are some other?
Loreal eyeshadows are great, try to never ever ever get Maybelline it is the cheapest makeup you can get at the drugstore. Loreal is higher quality. But I've also noticed that the drugstore makeup is almost the same price as Department store makeup! I went to get Loreal mascara (awesome!) and it was like 10 bucks. At MAC they have mascara for 12. It is just slightly more money but higher quality!
Maybelline shadows have the best colors. The thing I gatew most about them is that these specs of eyeshadow starts to fall down your cheeks, you can just wipe it off though. They don't fade, but tend to crease.
I personally don't like Loreal Infinite Wear eyeshadow. The colors go on very light %26amp; fades too quickly.
Try Rimmel. It's my favorite. My skin is really oily %26amp; it lasts pretty long. It doesn't fade either. The only bad this is that they don't have as many color choices as other brand.
